REASONS FOR DRUG TESTING
IN THE WORKPLACE
Among the reasons of drug testing, the most common are:

Random testing is by far the most efficicent test because it is conducted on an unannounced basis random selection process (computergenerated). Employers ensure that there is no bias and that all employees have an equal chance of being selected, even those who have been drug tested recently.
This test is performed when supervisors have reasonable cause to suspect an employee of drug use (abnormal Behavior, disorientation, confusion or inability to complete routine tasks …)
Drug testing can help to improve employees productivity while decreasing absenteeism, accidents and turnover.
